Welcome to Barbados!
Welcome to Barbados! Step into paradise and discover everything our island has to offer.
You don’t have to keep dreaming about your next destination vacation spot — you can find it all in Barbados! With miles upon miles of sandy beaches, delicious local cuisine, and of course, plenty of rum to go around, you can catch up on your rest and relaxation in the warm Bajan sun.
If you’re looking for adventure, Barbados has plenty of activities for you too. You can snorkel with hawksbill turtles, take a submarine tour of Atlantis, or tour Harrison’s cave with its towering columns and stalagmites and stalactites
No need to worry about the language. English is the official language spoken in Barbados. Over 287,000 locals call Barbados home, and many speak a Bajan dialect.
No tropical vacation is complete without tropical temperatures, and Barbados is sure not to disapoint you. Temperatures reach 30℃ during the day and 25℃ at night. With a light sea breeze and foamy ocean surf, you can bask in the island’s natural spa all year round.
Visiting Barbados means embracing island life. Try your hand at surfing and water sports, or kick back and float in the calmer water off the west and south shores. When you stay at Casablanca, you have access to the beach cabanas at Sandy Lane Estate Beach Club for some luxurious relaxation.
Barbados has a variety of delicious cuisine. From our national dish, cou cou and flying fish, to Roti (island burritos!) there is something for everyone — even the pickiest eaters. The island plays host to a huge variety of fresh seafood including tuna, swordfish, and barracuda. Our chef at Casablanca prepares fresh seafood and traditional Bajan dishes so you can get the complete Barbadian experience!
Barbados is the birthplace of rum. Take a rum tour and sample rum from four distilleries located right on the island. Check out St. Nicholas’ Abbey for an historical experience. And don’t shy away from the aged rums!
Our island has a rich history and amazing architecture waiting to be explored. Whether you’re looking for a guided tour or you simply want to drive yourself around the island, you’ll be sure to uncover hidden gems.
With stunning plant and wildlife, you can experience lush tropical views and up-close-and-personal encounters with green monkeys — and maybe even a mongoose or two. Have your camera ready! These animals will keep you on your toes and give you great photos to look back on.
Barbados is the perfect corner of vacation paradise. The people, the food, and the history will all make your vacation unique. And after you’ve seen the beauty of Barbados, you might not want to leave!
